Background

While putting together our Fall 2016 collection we ran into a stump as to what should our last piece be. We were about to host our 1st Pop-Up shop and all our designs and concepts were set. Except we were missing one more tee to round out the collection. 

We had our Top 5 V2, we were introducing our Maple Camo design and were launching trio of long sleeve versions of our Old Yorker design. One night I happened to be scrolling on the gram and I saw Frank Ocean wearing Vetements "Sexual Fantasies" Hoodie. At the time Vetements was the most buzzed about line in fashion.

Later that same night I also happened to catch a classic scene from one of my favorite movies, "Coming to America"

After watching that scene, it hit me that was the last shirt Sexual Chocolate!!!

We always liked spoofing on brands and concepts and with our Top 5 V2 having a double meaning. With the Kanye and Chappelle mash up. This fit perfectly, especially given Vetements popularity. 

The tee came out amazing and what was interesting because of the double meaning the tee was able to reach two separate audiences who understood the joke for different reasons and some people that loved it more.
